Dental Examination
Dental exams are also known as oral exams or dental checkups. These consist of checking up on your gums and teeth by your dentist. The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dental office for an exam every six months.

Fluoride Treatment
Where you aware your teeth have a built-in defense system to help protect them from cavities and tooth decay ? It is called enamel and it is the hard surface of your teeth. However, bacteria can eat away at tooth enamel if you donâ€™t properly clean and take care of your mouth causing cavities and other damage. Our dentists recommend that you receive regular fluoride treatments to help strengthen your tooth enamel and this can help reverse the effects of tooth decay.
Dental Sealants
A dental sealant is a plastic coating which is usually placed on your back teeth, the molars or premolars, and on top of the tooth that does the chewing, known as the occlusal surface. Dental Sealants help protect your teeth from decay.

Fillings
The inner part of the tooth is the dentin, which is more porous and similar to bone. It consists of microscopic tubes of collagen with calcium crystal deposits. Dentin is living and very sensitive. Feeling in the dentin is transmitted through the pulp, or nerve tissues, in the center of the tooth. To mimic the dentin that is natural the teeth, todayâ€™s dental composite resins are common in non-amalgam fillings. These composites are made of a plastic resin and silica filler.
Resin Composite

Dental Bonding
No preparation is needed for dental bonding. Even anesthesia often is not necessary, unless the bonding is being used to fill a decayed tooth.

Root Canal Treatment
Endodontics is the branch of dental care that deals with diseases of the toothâ€™s pulp. The pulp is found in the center of the tooth, inside the root of each tooth. The pulp is made up of connective tissue, nerves and blood vessels. The pulp is responsible for nourishing the tooth until it emerges through the gum. Once the tooth is mature, the pulp can be removed without destroying the tooth. Thatâ€™s because each tooth also is nourished by a blood supply in the gums.

Deep Cleaning
Gum disease, or periodontal disease as itâ€™s known in the business, can have an adverse effect on your overall oral health. Caused by bacteria found in plaque, gum disease most often occurs in patients who neglect routine oral care. Proper brushing and flossing and regular checkups will fight the occurrence of gum disease. Symptoms commonly found in gum disease are swollen, red, and bleeding gums or a receding gum line. If gum disease is left untreated, it can result in tooth loss. Please donâ€™t let it get to that point. We treat gum disease with a deep cleaning. We even go below the gum line to remove plaque and other deposits that lead to bacterial growth and bone loss when left untreated. Remember, brush, floss and regular checkups !
