Stupid stupid job. I started with 24 hours which was what I normally asked for then I went down to 2 hrs the next week. There is never any work to do, most of the time I was there I was basically just walking around. They never certified me on the order picker (I don't see why not bc they were always so slow). Overall the work they do is just so boring and stupid. And inside the warehouse looks like a dump

This job is trash, it's nice in the beginning when you're a temp or seasonal. You start with 38-42 hours but then after 3 weeks they give you 2 days to work and that isn't anything really. I worked hard and never came late or miss a day and they end up giving me 10 hours the last week. What the heck? So I just quit because it isn't worth it. The manager is cool, his name is Dennis; he's the only one that was actually cool about everything. Good manager, the work isn't worth it for just 10 hours a week. This work will betray you

I wished I would have read this review before I wasted my time going but what you were saying is true the guys name you are thinking of is Ryan. He was also pretty ignorant during my interview also he spent most of the time on his phone and he made me really uncomfortable he kept looking at me up and down. He also lied to me to about the job being fulltime cause my friend ended up getting a job there the first week was 40 hours then after that it dropped to 20 hours and now he is on call some weeks he doesnt even go in. Now we are both looking for new jobs I just cant believe a place like this would out right lie to a person and I cant believe they would allow somebody so unprofessional to handle the interviews. I look at Macys differently now and Im no longer going to shop there anymore and Im telling everybody I know not to shop there.

I just came from my interview from Macy's and unless your hard up for a job don't bother going here its a waste of time and gas. When they call they will tell you its an oncall position but what they wont tell you is the position is only temporary because they are far behind in there damage goods department and the position is only for a few hours a day but they wont tell you that unless you ask during your interview. My interview was very unprofessional I had to share my interview with another applicant. The applicant I was sharing my interview with was a teller in which the person doing the interview was very impressed with. The person doing the interview spent most of his time talking to the other applicant asking him a bunch of questions about being a teller which is ok if that person was going for a banking position but what I don't understand is what does being a teller have to do with warehouse. Then at the end of the interview they will take you back up to the first desk where security is and the person doing the interview will finally feel safe enough to tell you that you do not have the position. Which didn't bother me because I have another job and once I found out its was only temporary I was not going to accept the position anyway. What bothered me was the fact that they did not tell me the position was only temporary until I came there for my interview and asked and the other thing that bothered me was the unprofessional manner in which the interview was handled. I believe jobs like this should have to reimburse you for your gas if you do not get the position. Your resume or your application is right in front of them if they do not like your job history then why bother calling and wasting that persons time and gas and if they want to hire a teller for a warehouse position than why bother calling the person with warehouse experience back for a interview and why try and hide the fact that the position is only temporary. Its not just me but my friend also had a interview on the same day and had a very similar experience only without being interviewed with another applicant
