Overall

It's been months since I had a remote start installed here and the experience still bothers me enough to write a negative review. The “gentleman” at the counter was condescending and rude. Not sure if it was because I am a woman or because that’s just his demeanor. What’s worse is I had an appointment to have a particular brand and style of remote start installed. When I picked my car up after hours, the cheaper, inferior brand had been installed. They didn’t tell me in advance or call to ask if it was okay. When I noticed the wrong one had been installed I called them and had to drive all the way out there to get a refund for the price difference (25 min drive each way). He wasn’t apologetic and was again unfriendly. He said they must have been out of the model/brand I had requested and used the other instead. Again, I had an appointment for the installation. Should have had made sure the correct part was in stock. Made me wonder how many people they do this to.

Do not waste your money on a "Detail" job, you can do just as well in your driveway. I spent over $100, and when I got the car back all they really did was wash the car, shampoo the carpet, and put gloss on the tires. I expected they would clean the vent louvers, but no - still dusty. They wanted all things out of the middle console, but they didn't vaccuum it or wipe it out. The sunvisors were still dirty, dusty. Cloth seats needed shampooed, but they didn't do that. This was probably worth $40-$50, but not what I paid. I will never go to an Auto-1 for anything.

Damaged my seat while repairing the windshield!

This was the worst possible experience in having my windshield replaced! After I left, I noticed that there was broken glass all over the dash, front seats, and floors. The remote start antennea fell off (not glued properly) within 5 miles. And to top it off, later I noticed they had dripped black windshield adhedsive on my leather seat. The owner was unapologetic about all of it. He sent me to a leather repair place (almost into Elkhart) to have the seat fixed. Despite that I had to take a morning off of work to get this repair done, he wouldn't compensate me for my time in repairing the damage they did to my seat. The damaged spot on the seat is still visible! I have had work done before at Auto One and it was fine. However, if they do make a mistake, the owner will not stand behind it!
