Man Around The House

Darryl came to my home to help out with a list of items I needed repaired. I walked him around my home with my list of items that needed to be fixed. I had asked him if he needed to write them down but he responded that it was no problem. Since I was going to be there much of the time, I was not too concerned. He was unable to finish one of the items because he did not have the appropriate materials. He told me that he would be back in the area in a couple of days and would swing by to fix it. I agreed to this and then waited. I waited one week before calling Darryl to see why he hadn't come back. He apologized and said he would be by the next day. Again he did not show up so I called him again. This time he told me that he was not coming to my area just to fix that one item and that actually he didn't think I ever told him to do it! He said that the amount I paid him wasn't enough ($250) anyway even though we had agreed on the price AFTER I went through the entire list with him! I asked him to refund me $50 so I could have another Handyman come out and take care of the item he didn't do. He told me to call back and leave my address but do you think I ever got the money- of course not. Stay away from this handyman.
