Modesto Oriental Grocery

I like this store because it is unique and has Asian products you can't find anywhere else, the cashier lady is super friendly. The only draw backs are the strong smell of fish/sea food and the cramped aisles. I also saw a balut egg hatching once and assume they disposed of the duckling...I'm not a vegan mind you but I find it disturbing people eat that...

This is the best place I have found. I got really great deals on Fresh Produce and meat. This week I picked up a 18pk of eggs for only $1.29. It's unbelievable! I spent $60.00 and walked out with a basket full of groceries, and saved $40 over the normal grocery store prices. The dates are really good and my kids love that I can get them things I normally can't afford. Modesto mom of 6!

I always buy my cigarettes here-you can not beat the prices. If you don't smoke a particular brand, there are always great sales on. If you smoke name brands, there is likely a sale of some kind. If you smoke the brand I do (Shield), they are the least expensive carton sales around. A free lighter with each carton purchase too. 5 stars to these new folks! By the way--the name has changed to Cigarette Dealer...
