If you are a high-risk patient, you are better off finding a different doctor's office. By no means are they responsible for my multiple losses, but their pre and post care leave much to be desired. They also rush you after giving results (via phone or in the office), not giving you enough time to process the information and get your questions out.

If you are looking for a place for annual exams, this place is fine (stay away from the Oak Lawn office - huge time management issues there). My suggestion is to see if you can be seen by the nurse rather than the doctor (you'll have a bit of a wait to get an appointment with a doctor and then more wait the day of your appointment).

They were supposed to be open today (6/20) after being closed Monday and Tuesday for a computer upgrade and are always closed on Wednesday. Nurse said they were going to be open today when I talked to her last Thursday about my last round of blood tests. It's 1:20PM and I am STILL getting their after hours call center greeting. I was supposed to get the next round of blood test results today. Their Oak Lawn office is still closed as well. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL to be closed for almost a week (6/14 was the last time they were open) with NO ACCESS to test results.

I have only seen Dr. Axelrod and I really like him. He listens, is very patient and takes his time with me. I have been going to him for many years and will continue. Thanks for being so cool Dr. Axelrod.
