John Samuel's Hair Salon

I won’t be back after using this “salon” several years. Cost-higher than average. Professionalism is low. Service-slow. Stylist distracted with personal matters on phone in hand or reading social media. Skills satisfactory but not current. “Salon” is not nice or in good condition. Towels are dirty, smelly rags. Rarely has product in stock. Stylists is trying to retire which probably accounts for lack of interest in his customers and business.

Sammy at John Samuel's is hands down, the best. I live in the Houston area and still drive to Monroe so he can cut my hair. It is perfect every time! I always get compliments when I get home. When people ask where I get my hair done, they are disappointed to hear they must drive to another state. He is my Hair Angel. I won't let any one else cut my hair, period! You rock, Sammy!

Sammy is wonderful at haircuts, coloring, highlighting -- the works! He cares about your satisfaction with the finished look and knows how to work with different hair types. He gave me a very nice cut and color before a big interview, and I'm sure it helped my chances at landing my new position!

I drive 1016 miles to get my hair done here. It is so worth it. My hair is always beautiful! Highly recommend!!!
