Bought a 2003 Saturn 2weeks ago. The car has a few problems that need to be fixed but I understand that a used car will have some problems. However I was pulled over on a late night drive back home from up north because I had no tail lights and then was informed by the officer that my plate had not been transferred yet and the temp tag had expired. After spending hours on the side of us10 with my 4 dogs in the car the officer let us drive it home with the flashers on (thank god for a compassionate officer). The next day I went to find out why my car was not legal and all she had to say is that the SOS gives them til the following Monday if the plate expires on a weekend and the officer was wrong. When I asked her to fix the tail lights because I had been through such an ordeal and the car should have working lights her response was "how do I know they weren't working it's been two weeks" now common sense tell you they weren't working then but I don't normally drive after dark. Point is the car should be safe to drive and I was clearly shaken by the entire incident but she didn't even talk with me face to face!! She did it all on the phone and walked right past me as I was leaving after I hung up on her. If someone chooses your place of business to spend their hard earned money I think you should at least shake their hand or try to make it a positive experience. Sadie does neither. All she wants is your money. I would not recommend buying a car from her!!

I bought a 2003 Ford Explorer 3 days ago for $4000. Needless to say, it is currently not running. The morning after purchase, it would not start. I immediately called this so called business and they said it was the battery and I should take it to Auto Zone. I found someone to give me a jump and went there. The guy that changed the battery said how weird, the battery wasn't even bolted down... Hmmmm. I went home, got up the next morning to a vehicle that wouldn't start. I called and left a message with the owner of this very shadey business. She called back late in the day you tell me that I could have her mechanics fix it for a price. I said I needed my mechanic to look at it first. She screamed like a freak... Well, if you don't trust my mechanics your on your own and rudely hung up on me. This is unacceptable! I have contacted the better business bureau and will proceed in calling out this unethical business that screwed a single mother out of her entire tax refund and without a vehicle to get to work. I have no idea what I'm going to do. I repeated over and over again that it was all the money I had and I needed something I could rely on. I know you have to work on your vehicles from time to time, but something doesn't feel right here. Stay away from this place! Go anywhere else. Btw, the only reason why I rated this dump was because you gave to in order to write a review.

Bought a 05 impala in 2005 with 130k for around $5k. Best money ever spent! Car had a few minor issues but NOTHING major!! Would Def. Recommend!

Went to Big Boys Toys of Montrose to buy a car. Got a 2001 Ford Taurus for $3300, not a bad price, it looked great and ran great. Then the problems started about a month later.

Motor blew cost over $1000

Belts in tires were shot $250

Rear shocks fell apart $800

Front brakes warped $150

Serp belt, idler pulley, belt tensioner $250

battery died $120

all this in about 7 months $2570 all together!!



A used car needs work thats understandable, but when the shotty body work started falling apart I figured I'd call and see what the dealer can do being as they OWN a body shop. I called the owner and explained all the trouble I had asking her to help me out on repairing the body work and her first response was "what do you want me to do about it".

I asked for some sort of a discount not asking to do it for free and she began screaming at me and telling me that even though she OWNS the body shop she can only give me a 15% discount on any work.

I was treated TERRIBLY at this dealer, they were not sympathetic AT ALL that the car I bought from them is falling apart and leaving me stranded constantly. She just gave me attitude and screamed at me, I never raised my voice or gave any attitude to deserve that.



Im not asking for money I'm asking for understanding and a little help, and this dealer will offer only the opposite.



STAY AWAY FROM BIG BOYS TOYS!!! THEY OWN A COLLISION SHOP WHERE DO YOU THINK THEY GET THEIR CARS!?
