        William F. James Boys Ranch is a detention facility for 16- through 18-year-old boys sentenced by court. It provides vocational training to its inmates in horticulture, construction and car repair. The center also provides work programs in the Santa Clara Valley Water District. It offers community service programs for its inmates. The center also offers drug and alcohol treatment, anger management and mental health counseling services. Additionally, it conducts a range of sports competitions for its inmates. William F. James Boys Ranch is managed by the Juvenile Probation Department and is located in Morgan Hill, Calif.
