St James Thrift Shop

This was our first time there and it will probably be our last. We went in there because of the Festival going outside their doors. Yes we were with our four year old and I watched him like a hawk. He stepped away from me at one point, it must have been seconds and I heard a lady screaming at him that he couldn't me in the toy room alone. I quickly went there and he had a simple tool box he was looking at. I would have purchased it!!! you didn't have to scream at him!! Personally I think he would sell more toys if you weren't so mean to kids, I see the first review is about the same thing!! Just be nice to people of all ages, no screaming!!!

Priced right and very tidy, however, today was only my 2nd visit in 2 yes. The 1st I was approached as my niece played with a few things (I was attentive with her as I browsed in the same room) by an employee who asked if I was going to pick up. Her demeanor was rather accusatory and abrupt. I decided not to return but after a friends ravings of her finds I decided to return only to have the same thing happen with my daughter. Maybe a sign would work better.
