        two-faced business

        My friend got a quote for me. The business said 1350 for a transmission rebuild and 25 diagnostics, waved if they do the work. I took my car in. I get there they say 1400-2000 for the rebuild. They also say that torque converters are either rarely or never replaced. They call me the next day with numbers. Minimum 1800, Maximum 2000. They want to replace the torque converter for 300. They charge me 25 for the diagnostics, not telling me anything new.
