My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant! The food was amazing!! My husband is a steak man, so he ordered a filet mignon (butterflied) with a side of lobster tails! WOW! The steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster tails (3) were delicious. I ordered salmon and it was wonderful! The atmosphere was inviting; low lighting and water side. We will definitely be back!

I have been to this restaurant many times over the last 5 years and have seen the quality of food and service go steadily down hill while prices stayed high. It used to be my favorite place to take out of time guests, not anymore!

My husband comes to charleston several times a year and RB' s is a favorite. I came with him this time so we visited RB's for dinner. The place was very cozy and well decorated. Loved to be able to go out on dock and watch the creek. After about a 20 minute wait for a table next to the creek, we were seated. We had ordered drinks from the bar. My husband ordered a piña colada and did not like his. My drink was fine. Our waiter was very attentive after seated. The calamari was very good. Not the best we ve had but not bad. My husband ordered the crab cakes and a salad. They were excellent! I ordered broiled shrimp and scallops with red rice and baked potatoe. The shrimp were a little dry......again not bad but not the best I've had either. The scallops were very good! I had never tried the red rice before and both myself and my husband loved it. Don't think I have ever been to a restaurant where I didn't have to ask for extra sour cream and butter for the baked potatoe but I didn't this time. It was excellent as well. Service was great and since it was around 9 pm and on labor day monday was not very crowded. Cozy enough that we talked with some of the other diners........had our own special light show. There was a severe thunder storm while we were there and it was great watching the lightening over the water! I'm sure that was ordered just for us. : )
We will be back, not just for the light show but the atmosphere and food as well. Thanks RB's!

What was terrible??? The obnoxious parking Nazi in a lifeguard chair. The food. The owner. The tourist trap prices. The food.
What was good??? The location. The fact they provide employment.
