Columbus Elementary School offers academic instruction to approximately 600 students in prekindergarten through sixth grade. The school s staff includes classroom and early intervention teachers, math specialists, library assistants, psychologists, social workers and nurses. It provides various after-school programs, such as tutoring sessions and writing assemblies, as well as parents as reading partners and book publishing programs. Columbus Elementary School s academic curriculum includes several subjects, including English, math, science, social studies and physical education.
