The Laurels of Mt. Vernon

This place is absolutely horrible. I would never recomend this place to even my worst enemy. The first day my grandpa was there and left for the evening he had pushed the help button several times with no response. He has cancer and is very weak and can not do things on his own very well. They let him sit there for hours in his own urine. They talked to him like he was nothing. Today at 6am he pushed for a nurse to help him to the bathroom. She told him to get up himself and walk to the bathroom. She wasnt helping him and to do it himself. How could someone treat a sweet inocent man that way. Karma will be out to get that horrible women and God will be sure to give her what she deserves. Please if you have a choice, do not take your loved one to The Laurels of Mount Vernon. There nurses are 1 to 15 patients and they have no love for their job or the people they are there to take care of.
