Odle began as a one-man, local barnstorming operation that performed residential and farm painting services. After World War II, Odle maintained some residential painting operations but also ventured into larger commercial and industrial projects. As the company grew and hired more personnel, it also began to utilize newer and better coating and application technologies. Operating from five primary divisions, Odle is one of the few, complete full-service painting and coatings contractors. Odle s size and capabilities allows it to serve customers throughout the states of Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. The company has also completed projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin and Canada. Headquartered in Muncie, Ind., Odle was established in 1918, when M.P. Odle began painting operations out of his home.
