Founded in 1930, Kendall Electric is a full-service electrical wholesale distributor that serves the industrial, original equipment manufacturer and construction markets. It is an employee-owned company that distributes electrical controls, AC/DC motors, fiber-optic cables, transformers, programmable logic controllers and bar code readers. Kendall Electric represents a range of manufacturers, such as Allen-Bradley, Fluke Networks, OSRAM SYLVANIA and Panasonic. It operates more than 30 stores throughout Michigan's Lower Peninsula and northern Indiana under the names of Kendall Electric, Fitzpatrick Electric, Kendall Lighting and Great Lakes Automation Supply. Headquartered in Battle Creek, Mich., Kendall Electric maintains locations in Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Walker, Wyoming, Kalamazoo, Haslett and Holland, Mich., and Angola, La Porte, Fort Wayne and Mishawaka, Ind.
