I bought the 13X16 model with the angles included to elk hunt in Idaho. We built a frame out of some steel pipe and installed a homemade stove. The tent was up from September to mid-November and held out everything an Idaho Elk hunt could throw at us; from 40 mph wind, to rain, to sunshine and eventually snow it kept the weather at bay. When we took down the tent there was quite a bit of ice and snow frozen to the roof, I was glad that we went with steel pipe instead of the ¾” EMT but once we lowered the one side the angles buckled on the other side. This year we will be installing a fly to slide off the bulk before we tear it down. The tent slept 4 people, a stove and lots of gear easily. The Elk Mountain Tent was far less expensive than other tents we looked at, it included the angles and was much lighter to carry. The customer service has been excellent, all my questions have been answered pretty dang quick and they even sent me a piece of the fabric before I purchased the tent.

This tent worked great for my 2015 bull elk hunt in southeast idaho. We bought this tent over many others we looked at due to the lighter weight material it is made of. We were not disappointed! The tent is great, it is not only light weight but durable. Like many of our hunts in idaho it poured rain and the wind blew but this tent stood strong and kept us and our gear dry!

I bought my 13x20 tent last fall and we love it. My wife and I can set it up and tear it down by ourselves quite easily. The canvas is lightweight but very strong! It has kept us dry and warm through torrential rain and horrible winds. A small propane heater gets it toasty in no time when the mercury drops below freezing. So I can only imagine how well a wood stove works! 5 stars all the way around.

The people (Justin) at Elk Mountain tents were great to work with. We were in a rush to order our tent and Justin called us back on Labor Day. He shipped the tent out in time for us to use it at the Rabbit Stick primitive skills gathering outside of Rexburg, ID. We loved camping in this tent. Set up and take down were easy. A great tent for sure!

I have an Elk mountain Tent , the best tent I've ever owned. Don't be fooled because they don't cost as much as others. They are built to last, well thought out in design. We use ours in Northern Arizona (mostly Elk hunts) With the wood burning stove going it is a great place to be. The windows and the vent in the front and back make this tent a nice living space.

Very helpful customer service. Also very satisfied with the tent. I would recommend this tent to anyone who wants to stay dry and comfortable. The only thing that takes time is cutting all the poles for the frame.

I recently purchased a 13' X 16' tent with angle kit. I spent a lot of time searching the the internet and looked at traditional heavy canvas tents from other manufacturers. However, I had trouble justifying the cost. This tent is well designed, of high quality and well worth your money.
