Worst Place Ever! LOST my clothes!



Friday: Sent 5 items there, charged me 21.50 dollars. Told me Tuesday to pick them up.

Tuesday: Three items ready, the other two not until the next morning.

Thursday: Only one item could be found. Told me to come the next day.

Friday: Still not found. Asked me to come the next day, the one who took charge of the business would be there.

Saturday: Nothing found. The one who took charge of the business asked me to come the next Monday to talk to their manager, they would compensate me.

Monday: No manager. They told me to wait for two more weeks, as it is the NORMAL time for the business to fix the problem. Someone else might have taken the item, it takes time to return. Attitude was rude and ignorant, it sounds like it was my fault to come and look for my clothes. I wasted my money, wasted my time and experienced horrible feelings. I guess they just wanted to play this time game with me, as after 30 days, they would be not responsible for any items left. I want my customer rights. The last words I told them were ‘Talk to my lawyer!’ They replied ‘OK! You have the number, just call my manager.’



p.s. I don't want to give them a single star, but I have to in order to write this review.

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES! I just had a silk blouse dry cleaned there and when I went to pick it up there were white stains all over the brown silk shirt. The owner tried telling me the white stains were grease. He then offered to clean it again after I threatened to get a attorney involved. I just picked up the shirt for a second time and he melted holes around the neck and now there are more white stains on the back of the shirt. The owner pretended like he had nothing to do with the damages and said I handed him the shirt in those conditions. I take excellent care of my clothes and have only worn this shirt once. NEVER EVER use their services. The owner was completely rude and ignorant. Instead of apologizing he insisted on pretending it was my fault. I now have to take further actions just to get the cost of my blouse reimbursed. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

NEVER CLEAN ANYTHING HERE.



I've been going to Naper Value Cleaners for years and they have done a good job. I was married on June 4th and afterwards decided to have my wedding dress simply cleaned (not preserved). The dress is extremely simple - no beads or lace, just some structured pleats at the top). Sam, the owner, accepted the work and gave me a pick up date 1 week later. When I picked it up, the whole top part of it was flopped over, the part that used to be structured. Sam said they would repair it and I decided to give them the chance to make the situation right. Bad choice. Another week later I picked up the dress and it was 10x worse. They had completely ruined the dress (I have since had this certified and filed my complaints). Sam said I didn't pay him to keep the dress structured, just to clean it and that it was the manufacturers fault (a couture designer? Unlikely). Ridiculous - that's like saying I took my car to get washed and the porter drove it through the wash, crashed it into the wall, brought it out the other side clean but ruined and told me to take it back to Toyota.



I gave Sam the opportunity to reimburse me for the dress and he said it was not his problem and that he didn't ruin it. I wouldn't write such a bad review if Sam would have made an attempt to take responsibility for his mistake - a responsible and reasonable business owner would do that.



This company might be convenient and less expensive, but you get what you pay for. I just wish I didn't make the mistake of letting them touch my wedding dress.
