X-rays
Dental x-rays are an invaluable aid in the diagnosis, treatment and maintenance of oral health. Digital dental x-rays have around 75% less radiation when compared to traditional x-rays. These images can be viewed immediately. They can also be enhanced and magnified.

Teeth Cleaning

Crowns
Crown lengthening is a procedure that exposes more natural tooth structure by reshaping the gum and bone tissue. This procedure is often recommended on teeth that are broken or decayed under the gum line, or where there is insufficient tooth available for a restoration. Exposing more tooth structure will allow your dentist to make a better fitting and higher quality restoration.Â
Bridges
The traditional option of bridges involves the crowning of adjacent teeth. Dental implants donâ€™t sacrifice neighboring teeth. They can also eliminate the need for removable partial dentures. Fixed bridges can be anchored to dental implants. They are stable and restore both natural function and appearance.

Gingivectomy and Gingivoplasty
Pocket reduction surgery is a group of surgical procedures that includes osseous surgery, gingivectomy and flap surgery. These procedures gain access to the roots of the teeth. The teeth are then thoroughly cleaned. Diseased tissue can be removed and damaged bone can be smoothed, allowing for optimal healing.
Periodontal Surgery
A variety of procedures can be used to treat periodontal disease. If the gum disease cannot be adequately controlled with non-surgical therapy, periodontal surgery may be recommended. Surgical procedures facilitate better access to the roots, allowing your periodontist to remove the irritating plaque and tartar and to reduce the depths of unhealthy pockets. The depth of these pockets can be reduced by decreasing the inflammation, removing the pocket tissue, or repairing the damaged bone and gums. Proper evaluation will allow for the appropriate treatment.
Deep Cleaning
This process involves a deep cleaning of the gum pockets. The causative agents, plaque and tartar, are removed from the teeth. This allows for healing of the gum tissue and reattachment to the teeth.

Dental Implants
While dental implants are a viable and effective solution for tooth replacement, adequate bone quality and quantity are essential for proper placement. As we age and when teeth are lost in the posterior aspect of the upper arch, the maxillary sinus cavity can expand. This can limit available bone. Additionally, bone loss around teeth can be a factor. When there is insufficient bone height for implant placement, a sinus augmentation may be an option. This procedure can raise the sinus floor, allowing for new bone formation.

A diastema is a large gap between teeth. A diastema can result from an unusually thick or tight frenum that attaches close to the teeth. Frenectomy, combined with orthodontics, can correct this problem.
