The company handles commercial printers with its in-house print facilities, paper publishing and industrial paper products. Athens facilitates coated and uncoated free sheet mills, ground wood mills, and text and cover products. The company has grown from an original staff of 12 employees and one facility to more than 300 employees with nearly 10 office and warehouse locations and five publishing sales offices. Its merchant locations include Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga and Knoxville, Tenn.; Atlanta; Louisville and Lexington, Ky.; Jackson, Miss.; Madison, Ala.; and Charlotte, N.C. Athens Paper Company s publishing sales offices are located in Nashville; Butte, Mont.; Kalamazoo, Mich.; Atlanta; Chicago; and New York.
