Edley's Bar-B-Que

The tables could use a little work and you order at a front counter then sit down and wait for your food to be brought to you. No waitress. I would order beers if I didn't have to walk across the restaurant to get one. Other than that those are my only complaints. I ordered a full rack of ribs and 2 sides and they were spot on. Finally some ribs that had smoke on them. Mac and cheese was ok and the coleslaw was ok. I like a mayo coleslaw more than vinegar.

Good BBQ food, large restaurant in a bustling street. Can get very busy in the weekend. Baked beans, mac&cheese, fried okra; even the sides are really nice.

The food is nice (we managed to eat some of it once or twice), but the place was so incredibly busy every time we tried to go here, that we have stopped trying. Lines all the way to the pavement is too much for us, no matter how great the food.

Not a huge fan of barbecue, but edley's is the exception! I love their nachos and cornbread!! Has a great atmosphere.

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants to bring out of town visitors! There is always a line, but it's well worth the wait. Try the nachos! They're delicious!

Trendy spot to take family from out of town! Even when they are crowded they work hard to treat customers right and get your food to you in a timely fashion!

This is a great local BBQ restaurant. They have delicious food. Their atmosphere is clean, casual and hip. You order your food at the counter, they give you a number, and then they bring their food to you. It can get very crowded and seating can be a challenge when they are busy. They also have a cute porch area to eat at if the weather is nice.

Best BBQ in town, in my opinion. Try it with greens and grits or mac and cheese. The gooey bars for dessert are to die for.

There is a reason why Edley's is often voted the best barbecue in town...it's because it is fantastic. Every time I visit this place, I give myself a pep talk before I walk in, reminding myself how unhappy I was the last time I visited (and the time before that...and the time before that...), when I ate the pulled pork barbecue nachos until I was sick. And yet, every time, I make the same mistake. Those this is listed as an appetizer on the menu, it is more than enough to comfortably provide a meal for two people. Fast service, good, cheap food, and a great atmosphere.

line was a little long but worth EVERY SECOND after trying the food!!! Yum to the Nth degree :-)
