Music City Taxi

Did not show for pickup. When contacted, got runaround....driver on way, I will have him call you. Several other people at hotel with same issue. Concierge said very typical. Avoid the hassle...go Uber or Lyft. Never had issue with this taxi service before, but on this trip, they were undependable on 3 separate attempts.

Called this company on a Saturday afternoon for a pick up the next morning for a ride to the airport. They did not show, and when I called them, they had no record of the phone call the previous day. To their credit, they did manage to show up 15 minutes late, and I did make my flight. The lesson here is do not trust their dispatcher for any trips to the airport

My granddaughter and I used American Music City Taxi service the other day, and the service was EXCEPTIONAL! The driver called my home first to verify his location to our house, then he arrived moments later, about 10 minutes before my ACTUAL requested pick-up time, and loaded up our luggage into the back of his clean, comfortable van. He was cordial and likeable, laughing at all my corny jokes. He even got his dispatcher to play Xmas music for me in the van - what a treat! I am disabled and retired, so I sometimes need extra care and gentle treatment, and I got it. Also, I found a 10% coupon off regular fares on their website, and the driver told me he would accept it and asked me to deduct it from my airport fare and give him the balance. I was so pleased with this driver and this taxi company that I will definitely arrange a pickup at Nashville airport when I return next year. Also, reserving a cab/van online was great; it works best for me rather than calling. I'm sorry I didn't get my assigned driver's name, but I gave him a good tip for his efforts and kindness. Don't hesitate contacting this organization for taxi service; you won't be disappointed!

The most unprofessional and rude service ever. We reserved several cabs, called well in advance to cancel some when we realized we did not need them, were forced to split unnecessarily between the extra cabs that arrived anyway, on our way my husband received a call from another driver who had arrived and was threatening wait at our house and call the police if we did not turn around immediately and pay him. The drivers admitted to not knowing where they were going and refused to accept directions (thus, over charging us even more). Two cabs arrived where they were supposed to, the third stranded another group of our friends on the opposite end of downtown (he got lost and just left them in the wrong place) and refused to drive them to their original destination unless they paid him again. When we called to complain or have something done to help our friends out, we weren't even offered an apology.



I have never been treated so badly by a company and will NEVER be asking for their services again.
