I own a restaurant in downtown Boston. MD Weaver has been my pest control for about three years and they have been good. However, I am writing this review for a special occasion. A couple months ago we had an emergency roach problem in our kitchen that surfaced at around 6pm. I paged MD Weaver about my emergency and they were able to get someone out to my restaurant at 4:30am the next morning to have it taken care of. I recommend them for their extraordinary service.

Bed Bugs
You, your clients, and we know that bed bugs are commonly the greatest worry to guests staying in your hotel or rented suite. They are known as the worst souvenir you could possibly bring back home after spending time away. Bed bugs are notorious for their ability to transfer, feed, and grow. It is because of this that they are at the forefront of concern with our hotel and rental clients.

There is no substitute for proper site sanitation. Cockroaches thrive to the limit of their food, water sources, and places to hide. Also, placing toxic bait in cracks and crevices has been shown to be one of the most effective control measures, but is greatly hampered by food left easily available to the roach. One newspaper can house up to 7000 cockroaches. Paper goods and wooden products are especially attractive to German cockroaches. These potential domiciles must be regularly inspected and sorted through. Reducing clutter reduces the time required of the Pest Specialist.

Implementing a plan of action to control and deter these animals is where MD Weaver comes in. MD Weaver’s professional wildlife control technicians have the equipment and knowledge necessary to safely remove the animal from your property without injuring it or themselves. Wildlife control technicians are up to date on regulations involving species that may be protected by law and require special handing. They will also be able to assist with cleaning up the animal’s nest, droppings, and food remnants in order to prevent the spread of disease and bacteria. The best thing you can do to protect your home from nuisance animals is to prevent them from setting up residence in the first place. But, if despite your best efforts to thwart a determined pest, you find that one has moved in, don’t hesitate to contact an MD Weaver wildlife expert. The sooner you get rid of your unwanted guest, the less chance they will get accustomed to staying, saving you potential damage to your home and health.

Maintenance Program: For prevention of future infestation by both insects and rodents, the I.P.M. program would include both chemical and non-chemical methods. The client would be updated regularly as to what conditions warrant their attention to prevent pest occurrences. Inspections would be made in accordance with the National Pest Management Association.

Tracking powders (a restricted use product) and baits play important roles in mouse and rat control. They must be used with care for maximum safety although they are very effective. Excluding rodents out of a facility and using multiple types of mousetraps should always be considered before using rodent toxins.
