Above All Overhead Door

After calling Above All , I spoke with a woman who told me the service call was85 dollars to show up after explaining that my door wouldn't close with the remote. A technician named Ed showed up 2 hours late. He proceeded to tell me that my safety eye sensor bracket was rusted and caused them not to align. I told him to replace the bracket. 20 minutes later he said in the process of unscrewing it, that the sensor broke. He told me it would be an additional 65$ to replace the safety eyes. After replacing the eyes, he opened and closed the door numerous times and the opener stopped working. He then told me that the motor had failed and it would cost me 390 to replace with a new unit. I called the office and they told me that the technicians diagnosis was correct and that I had to pay for everything that was done or replace the unit. Now i am out 150$ and have a garage door that is completely inoperable!!! I reached out to a local small business who came and replaced a part inside the motor for $35 and it works as good as new! Stay far away from this company. They have unskilled technicians who are just out to get in your pockets. I hope this post will save at least one person from being ripped off by Above All Overhead Door! It seems that any company is "Above" this companies poor standards.

I had Above All Overhead Door out today. The technician Joe came out he was very professional and friendly. Joe fixed my cables and adjusted the door. Price was very good and he was done within a half hour. It was nice to have a service business that is reliable!!!
