Affordable Courier

My first and last experience with this company, let me tell you. What a mess. All I needed was a same day service from St. Pete to downtown Tampa. $9.95 is the price I was quoted. It was a Tuesday morning, and my package had to be in tampa by 5 PM on Wednesday. They gaurentee their service all right. They did not make it by 5 pm on Tuesday. It was 5:15 when they tried to deliver, but thte company was closed. My office did not receive a phone call from them. I called them myself on Wednesday at around 11:30 when I found out the package had not been delivered. They wanted to charge me another $19.95 to get it there that day by 5pm.Now you figure out what is wrong with that. Why should I pay because they were late the day befrore? Needless to say, my package did not get delivered to the courthouse on time. Let's just say that the package NEVER arrived at it's destination. They not only wanted to charge me to redeliver to the courthouse because they were late, they wanted to charge me to return it to my office. I wasn't paying another penny. I had the file reprinted ( at my cost ), and delivered it myself on Fri. Now of copurse there was a reason for my deadline, so you know that means I had late fees to pay, on top of everything else.
