Affordable Movers

I used this company for a move. In all fairness they were really nice when they got there. But they left several items behind (including a room full of heavy items) and when I called to ask them to come back, the owner apologized and said they were on their way and never showed. After an hour I called, and kept following up and calling (even after several days) but no one returned my call. They were blocking me! I had even tipped the owner (because he pretended as if he had no change and couldn't break the bill). So, even afer my tip the guy never came back. I left him a voicemail telling him that you cant expect to do bad business and surveive for long, and hung up. I hope that you all will be smarter than I was and hire someone else.

PS. I wound up having to throw away those items they left behind because they were too heavy for me to carry alone...

The first time that we used Affordable Movers was after our Apartment had been engulfed in smoke and we had to vacate immediately! Without much time to prepare to move multiple apartment units, the Affordable Movers team, under the direction of their owner, relocated an entire apartment unit, including me and my family within one day!!! The second time and the most recent time that I needed to move, my realtor recommended Affordable Movers. The cost was very reasonable. Affordable movers started at 8:00 a.m. and they moved us into our new home by 10:30 a.m. The owner and movers were very professional, polite, and they actually talked to my husband and I to get to know us during the move. It really felt like family was helping us move. To make you feel even more comfortable about choosing Affordable Movers, they are also used by Vaughn Lakes Apartments ----- that says alot about Affordable Movers! My realtor recommended them to me, and I recommend them to you.

I contacted this mover app 1 week prior to my move date and was given a sight unseen estimate. I did receive a call back for inventory and contacted the mover again. I was given an estimate that was double the original. I declined to use this mover and have found one that is far more reasonable and professional
