was told that main was broke and needed 2500 dollars to fix and repair, then was told they could bring out a specail snake and open it for 1000 if they didn't get it open that 1000 would go towards fixing the problem. another company comes out and snakes it for 70 and i'm as good as new

I don't have any idea about the complaint I just read about, however; I called the company at 9pm on a Wednesday, they sent a plumber named Paul over (not sure if same one) and he came right over, snaked my drain and was a doll. I would recommend this company and this techician to everyone I know. He could have easily taken advantage of me, late at night, single, elderly and clueless to plumbing. Keep up the great service.

Our drain in our basement backed up on us and we called Allstar to come take a look at it. The plumber Paul right away said the pipe had collapsed and we were going to need to break up our basement and it would cost 2400.00 to do so. We asked that he try to snake it first because my husband knew exactly why it was backed up (he flushed paper towel down the toilet). Eventually the plumber "tried" to snake it and after about 10 feet said he could not go any further that the drain was busted. A few hours later we had another plumber come out and snaked our drain out 75 feet and got the blockage cleared. Our drain was not broken. It was completely fine it was just blocked. I called the manager/owner of the company this morning to complain and he did not apologize or anything. Not a good way to do business. I suggest you find another company for any plumbing issues.
