Barr Roofing and Exteriors just completed our new roof, gutters and downspouts and we couldn't be more impressed with the whole experience. We had hail damage and had our roof inspected by our insurance company. Barr Roofing and exteriors was the second company we called. Martin Barr is an honest and personable man who is proud of his product. He explained the little things he does that make his finished product something he is proud of and the customer is pleased with.The first company we talked to wanted the entire insurance money paid up front but now Martin. That was a big plus in our book. His team was skilled, neat and respectful of our landscaping. The clean up was exemplary. They even went over the entire property with a magnet roller looking for errant nails. We are over the moon happy with Barr Roofing and Exteriors.

After getting a quote from a different company, I found Martin Barr. I am glad I did. We the various options for a new roof and their pro's and con's. Martin was thorough in his evaluations of each type and we decided on the best option for my house and me. Everything he did, he made sure i was aware of what was going to occur and when. I didn't have to worry about whether they would show up or not. The work was done efficiently and excellently. Any question I had was answered quickly and truthfully. I would not hesitate to work with him and his teams again! Thanks Martin, you put my mind at ease and my roof (and gutters) looks fantastic.

It’s nice when you can find a contractor you can trust. We’ve been working with Martin for the last several months, starting with our roof and moving onto a rather large deck project. Throughout the project, he’s made sure things are done right and has communicated regularly along the way. He’s a stickler for details and his guys are craftsmen who clearly love what they do. I’m really glad I chose Barr Roofing & Exteriors to put a new roof on my mansard style home. I wanted to sell my house but I knew the old roof could be a deal breaker. It was was pretty old and a real eyesore to the neighborhood. His crew did an amazing job replacing it and it fit like a glove. I got several compliments from neighbors. The house sold fast. I’m sure the work they did was a big part of the quick sell.

I recently had a new roof installed by Barr, and I am extremely satisfied. First off, the roof itself looks great. But there were a lot of other things that added to my level of satisfaction. Martin, the owner, is very conscientious, and goes out of his way to make sure you're satisfied. Got a question on a Saturday night? He answered my email with a call right away. Worried about the mess? They cleaned up everything, and even sent out somebody the next day to inspect the roof and go over the grounds again looking for debris. His crew was very professional, and Martin was very good about calling and keeping me apprised and what to expect at each step of the process.

During installation of my roof, an unexpected rain storm rolled in. They got the unfinished portion of the roof covered with a tarp. But the rain got in their trailer and leaked rust-water onto my newly sealed driveway, leaving some rust spots. Things happen, and I don't blame Barr for this. But when I told Martin about it, he worked with me to try different solutions for getting the stain up. I tried power washing it, and he sent a guy out to try power washing it also. But for whatever reason, the stain would not come up. Martin arranged to have my driveway re-sealed. Not only did they cover the stain, but the driveway looks better than it did before. I have a lot of admiration and respect for Martin for making sure that things got fixed and that I was satisfied with the result.

I don't think I've ever had as good of experience with any kind of contractor, and I will not hesitate to recommend Barr to my friends or to call them when I need other work done.

Barr roofing did an excellent job on our roof replacement project. Martin was a pleasure to work with and made the entire process very easy. Other than seeing a new roof there was no trace of anyone being at our house. Cleanup was amazing. They arrived on time and completed the project quicker than expected. Excellent experience. I highly recommend Barr Roofing. They replaced my mom's roof a couple months ago. When my home received hail damage I called them because she was very happy with their work. Martin from Barr Roofing took care of everything, and made the process simple and fast. He came out to look at my roof within a day or two, and the following week the shingles were delivered and they installed my new roof that same week. They use good materials (CertainTeed shingles, synthetic underlayment, etc.) My roof is fairly small (1300 sq. ft.) and they didn't waste any time; it only took 4 hours from beginning to end. The dump trailer was picked up the same day and there was no mess. I walked around my home to look for nails, debris, etc. and I only found one nail! He also handled the gutter replacement and siding, all of which was finished by the week after. Martin kept me informed with every step in the process. I am very happy with my experience and I have no hesitation in recommending him.
