D & H Carpet Cleaning

I have worked in multifamily living for over 6 years. I have used at least 15 professional carpet cleaning conpanys in that time. It is a huge part of my job selecting the right vendor where price, satisfaction, and schedule flexibility meet at an agreeable place. I have used D&H exclusively for nearly two years because of how well they nail that criteria. Don (the owner of DH) has no problem getting down and doing the nitty gritty work himself and holds no reservations about emergency midnight flood conditions. The whole staff is very quick, friendly and agreeable. They understand that my reputation rides on how well I prepare apartments for my tennants; and my reputation is in good hands with D&H

I got a coupon for this company so I decided to use them for a new home that we bought. The guy came out and was very nice and sociable. He went around the home with his tester and took his time testing for urine spots for the previous owners because they had pets. My coupon for $99.00 went from that to a "special" deal of $336.00 to treat all spots. One was a bedroom that had most of the issues. So, I decided not to treat the spots and to just replace the carpet in that bedroom because we were already doing some carpet replacing anyways. The minute I told him that I wouldn't do the spot treatment his attitude completely changed. He became very short and rude. It was unbelievable. He than proceeded to all of a sudden be in a hurry and did the quickest carpet cleaning I have ever seen any company do. There was debris left behind on some of the areas also. He also told me the carpets would dry in about 4-6 hours and they did not dry for over 24 hrs. I will never use this company again nor recommend it to anyone. Please save your money and use it on a better company. They are really not worth it.
