DARDEN'S Tree & Landscaping

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I cannot stress this warning enough. These nut jobs were supposed to remove a large tree branch that is hanging above my garage. I told Thomas and his goons that they could use the roof to climb up on the tree but that they should not stand on or work off of the brand new roof on the garage (which was installed just last spring). I explained that the roof does not have the proper support to withstand the weight of heavy men standing on it to wrestle tree branches. I was assured that they would only use the roof as a jumping point but within 15 minutes there was a 250 lb guy on that roof catching huge tree branches falling from where Thomas was cutting pieces of the branch. Instead of letting the branches fall gently to the ground, the heavy set guy was pulling up on them as they were falling. He was causing the branches to scrape against the edges of my garage roof, which flipped up various new shingles and caused them to crack. Not to mention, the weight of the heavy guy standing on it caused various sagging spots on my new roof. When I told Thomas Darden to stop what he was doing and get his man off the roof, he started cursing at me from the tree he was perched on (at least 30-40 feet in the air). To say that the entire neighborhood heard his cursing tirade is an understatement. He said: "what are you gonna do? You gonna sue me for some shingles?" and I said that I would sue if we obviously couldn't come to an agreement about how to fix this. Thomas started cursing even louder and proceeded to climb down the tree and pack up his equipment without even having completed the branch removal. To add insult to injury, he did not even clean the mess he made in my yard leaving branches, leaves, saw dust and pollen scattered all over my garage roof, deck and driveway. Thomas was a complete nut case and I wouldn't use him to whittle a toothpick much less wield a chainsaw anywhere near my property again. Please exercise caution when dealing with these guys as they are careless, belligerent and extremely unprofessional.
