Medical Weight Loss
Electrocardiogram
A nuclear stress test is used to provide information about how the heart responds to exertion. It involves walking on a treadmill at increasing levels of difficulty, while your electrocardiogram, heart rate, and blood pressure are monitored. This test helps to determine which parts of the heart are healthy and function normally and which are not. A small amount of radioactive substance is injected into the patient. Then Chuck, our nuclear technician uses a special camera to identify the rays emitted from the substance within the body; this produces clear pictures of the heart tissue on a monitor. These pictures are done both at rest and after exercise. Using this technique, areas of the heart that have a decreased blood supply can be detected.
Immunizations
From preventive care and checkups, to immunizations and exams, Dr. Bensimon works to keep you healthy and strong each and every day.

Internal Medicine
Dr. Jaimy H. Bensimon is a triple board certified Internist, Geriatrician and Cardiologist with further qualifications in Phlebology. He graduated from the University of Montreal, School of Medicine in 1977 and completed his internship at McGill University, before entering his residency program for Internal Medicine at Notre Dame Hospital, and his fellowship program for Cardiology at the Montreal Heart Institute.

Mental Health
Dr. Bensimon offers Work Physicals which may be required for certain jobs in the healthcare field. Our office will give you a Certificate of Good Physical and Mental Health and either a PPD skin test to check for TB or a prescription for a Chest X-ray all for the low rate of $40, this Physical is done on a walk-in basis and is quick and convenient, call our office for more information.

Ultrasound
An echocardiogram (also called an echo) is a type of ultrasound test that uses high-pitched sound waves that are sent through a device called a transducer. The device picks up echoes of the sound waves as they bounce off the different parts of your heart. These echoes are turned into moving pictures of your heart that can be seen on a video screen. This test is used to look at how blood flows through the heart chambers, heart valves, and blood vessels. The ultrasound computer then measures the direction and speed of the blood flowing through your heart and blood vessels.
