We are proud to help you if you have an emergency; we have an electrician on standby 24 hours a day for emergency service work. Customer Satisfaction is our Guarantee!Home owners and business owners most often need an electrician when their outlets or lights stop working. The wiring systems in our area have their own set of challenges. We have homes that range in age from 200 years old to only a few years. Houses in Arlington, Alexandria, Bethesda, and Washington DC can have the oldest of wiring systems. Wiring techniques have changed again and again throughout this time span. Our electricians have worked in NOVA, Maryland, and Washington DC for many years. They have experienced all types of wiring methods in homes of all ages. Our electricians train regularly to keep their skills sharp and we keep our trucks full of the odd parts that will be found in our area s diverse homes. Plugs, outlets, and switches are the most common reason for electrical outages inside of homes. The main reason for failure is the wiring method called stab locking or back stabbing. This is the quickest and easiest way for builders and people who don't know any better. This practice happens even today. Our electricians NEVER back stab plugs. We always wrap the wire around the screw and tighten down to ensure a lasting connection for years to come. Aluminum wire was used in the 1970's to wire houses. Since then aluminum wire has been outlawed for use on low amperage circuits such as plugs, outlets, and lights. Aluminum wire has been known to be dangerous when not connected properly. If used with proper connections and methods aluminum wire can be used safely. Our electricians are masters at their trade and with that know how to repair aluminum wired systems correctly.

Overall

I never needed an electrician before. When I called they were full of information and got me on schedule that day. When Dave got here he taught me alot about electricity and fixed it right. He let me know why it happened and how to stop it from happening again. I will be letting my neighbors know who to call.
