Generation 3 Electric

After reading the many reviews -- the vast majority of which were glowing -- of this outstanding phila-based business, i gotta say that the few negative postings strike me as little more than the petty rants of Gen-3's competitors who find it easier to smear a business than it is to earn a solid reputation on the merits of their own good work.



I'm a small-business owner myself and I know the damage that can be done by unscrupulous posters. All I can say is, your pathetic attempt to discredit this business is transparent! And to anyone looking for an honest, hardworking and competitive electrical contractor, look no further than Generation 3.

I have recently relocated to the Philadelphia area and have utilized GEN 3 on numerous occasions to perform electrical services and installations. They are professional, courteous and expeditious. Gen 3 performed the work for my business as quoted in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them for all of your electrical needs. Two thumbs up!

I am a new business owner who has all the associated problems with opening a new business. The service I received from Generation 3 Electric was superb. Bottom line, I worry about three things: time of work needed to be done, quality of work, and cost. On all three fronts, Generation 3 Electric delivered.

We had these guys rewire our 2nd and 3rd floors to replace some old knob and tube, install smoke detectors for the house and about 12 high hats and fan for our bedroom. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly guys that did our work. We got a few estimates and they weren't the cheapest but definitely gave us the impression that the job would be done right quickly, safely and to code, so we went with them. Worth the extra few bucks for the piece of mind. Everything turned out super, we're really happy. We will be having them back when we re-do our kitchen, for sure.



I just have to say I find the few bad reviews on here to be a bit suspicious. A few of them are identical or virtually identical, kind of seems like some other electrician is trashing other local electricians. Also, a lot of the remaining "bad" reviews complain about the high pricing of replacing a light switch or outlet. Come on people think about it, it doesn't matter if a switch/outlet costs $3.00, electricians still have to pay employees, put gas in the truck, spend business time driving to the location, just to replace a simple outlet/switch. What do you expect???

Michael from G3E did an excellent job installing the ceiling fan in my daughter's room first so she could take her nap. Very professional and considerate.

Had these folks over to the apartment to install a new ceiling fan. They arrived on time, were very clean-cut, professional and efficient. They even took away all the trash and packaging and cleaned up the little bit of plaster dust left behind. No doubt a very experienced and well-trained crew. I would recommend them without hesitation.
