Established in 1980, Halme Construction Inc. is a full-service heavy civil/utility contractor. Based in Davenport, Wash., the company serves public government agencies, private developers and land owners across the inland northwest region. The firm offers expertise in executing public contracts for roads, utilities, and bridges. It provides a full spectrum of heavy excavation and fine grading services, as well as a range of utility installations including water, sewer, irrigation, storm piping and retention ponds and more.
Halme Construction has performed significant environmental cleanup efforts on industrial contaminated sites all over Eastern Washington. These projects have ranged from complete removal and disposal of classified industrial waste at certified disposal locations to repurposing and protection of industrial waste onsite to allow new construction without the great expense of disposal. Halme Construction has worked with a variety of environmental engineers to insure worker and public safety during these sensitive projects.
Halme Construction has developed new residential developments in preparation for new home construction. These projects include full utility development and site grading in preparation for new houses as well as street, sidewalk and landscape construction.
Excavation
CH2M Hill subcontracted with Halme Construction to provide all structural excavation and exterior pipe installation. This project included over 40,000 feet of pipelines installed in less than a 5 acre footprint. Halme Construction used 3D modeling layout technology to maximize productivity and quality control.
