I cannot say enough good things about Merit. Susan Tatsui-D’Arcy is a brilliant educator, and she has a true knack for inspiring greatness. In the time that I have worked with her, Susan has worked wonders, from helping me recover from nearly dropping out of high school to getting accepted at several state schools, to finding the job and opportunities which best suited me in the military, all the way to aiding me in getting accepted at UCLA and mapping out with me a plan to get into a competitive medical school.



Probably the single factor that drives me most to succeed in school is a determination to realize my long-term goals. Without the help of Susan Tatsui-D’Arcy and Merit, I don’t know how attainable those goals would seem to me. Susan has helped me map out my future in detail, and sets me up with short-term goals that I can feel good about accomplishing, all while looking forward to being a strong candidate for the most selective medical schools in the nation. I’m ahead of most of my peers, and for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m on my way towards something great, and I don’t think I would be able to say that without Merit. Thank you Susan!
