We use 4 mil plastic, plywood, felt paper nail down unfinished or finished of the best quality floor available. Then we sand to perfection and stain to any color (including natural) depending on the customer preference. To further protect your floor beautiful finish, we apply two coats of polyurethane. This procedure is used on design inlays and custom work as well.Mike Elliston Hardwood Floor Service, Inc. believes in restoring existing wood floors whenever possible. In most cases this involves nothing more than repairing flaws and refinishing.
