It administers various recycling programs that include construction and demolition debris recycling and the composting of food and organic wastes. Recology owns, manages and operates several landfills to ensure environmental protection. It serves clients in nearly 50 communities in California. The company manages American Canyon Recycling & Disposal, Sunset Scavenger Company, Los Altos Garbage Company, Sunset Scavenger Company and NWS Ostrom Road Landfill.
