If you are looking for great prices, shop here. Eckrich bologna and franks $1 each on sale, for starters. Tomatoes $1 per lb on sale, too. Yes, they have many off brands, but who cares? If you gotta have Kleenex, Lay's, Sunbeam, and Green Giant, go to Publix and pay the price. If you need to feed your family on almost no budget, shop here. I can save 25% to 50% overall on my trip, so I'm driving the six miles to shop here.
They had a lot of $1 specials, and canned beans were on sale (good fiber source and we like them) so I tried a lot of new brands. The beans were great alone and in cihili, as were the tomatoes, fresh and canned. Frozen turkey chubs were also $1 per lb, great in most anything if mixed with half beef. The frozen vegs were $1 per lb package, and tasted great. The nly thing I bought that was not good: their brand of bagels. - dull and dry. I used them in sandwich melts but stil not good.
I especially wanted to mention their yogurt; it's an off brand (Coburn) but SOOO good. It's very thick with big chunks of fruit and unlike any other I've tried locally. AND it's 39 cents each!
The selection is limited so shop here first and be prepared to go elsewhere for some things. I make my lists by store sales; here first, Bilo (sale stuff only and even then watch the prices - BOGO bologna at $4.49 each is still not a deal if WalMart has it for $2); then Walmart for anything I gotta have that these 2 don't have good prices on. Don't have time in your busy busy busy day for all this shopping? Then you are gainfully employed (lucky you!) and don't really need to save the way the rest of us do.
Really, give them a try, and Aldi as well.

Mostly off brands. Limited selection. Low prices on nonparishables. Meats were comparable to Ingles.
