Shipman Pump

Called Gwen within 10 minutes of no water. She came out, diagnosed the problem and had it repaired 2 hours after my initial call. We have used Gwen and Wesley Shipman for our well and pump needs the last 25 years and they continue to provide us with exemplary service.

Prompt as possible even through ice or snow conditions.
Yes pumps are expensive but we go for years at a time with great water and no problems.
Mrs. Shipman worked beside her husband. After Mr Shipman passed she continued with the service.

My water stopped working so called Shipmans because there was a sticker with their business on my water tank. I called the number and it rang about 25 times so I called back later. The lady who answered sounded so angry. I was kind of taken back. I told her my problem and she said she would be out the next day but I had to pay immediately after the service. I thought that that was an odd thing to say but I was fine with that. She and another lady came out for less than 3 hours and told me they had to replace a check valve. The invoice was for $500. $400 of that was labor. I’ve never felt used before until these ladies. They priced gouged me and i believe $140 an hour is an unreasonab amount. She should have warned me that she charged that much an hour. I would have used someone else. Now I know to ask. Don’t use these people.
