- Lionel (Nelly) Labonte first opened his business in Stratham, NH on December 7, 1961. Initially in business as Stratham Sunoco, Lionel grew the business through delivering fast service for a fair price. Always delivering "a buck for a buck" he quickly developed a loyal customer base, and expanded his business to include tire sales. Before long (1966) Stratham Tire was formed. Nelly and his team of 150 dedicated employees have been in business now for over 43 years. We continue to earn your business every day, and strive to be your first choice for tires and service. Chris,the manager, is very knowledgeable and professional. Great service and prices.
I recently purchased 4 tires for my Honda CRV from Stratham Tire in Portsmouth, NH. I called about 15 places for prices before settling on this place because they quoted me the best price. They told me it would take about 2 hours because they had some people in front of me but I could leave it and they would call when it was ready. They called about 30 minutes after I dropped it off and said it was ready to go. When I went to pick it up, the actual price came in $45 under what they quoted me on the phone. The guy who worked on my car and the manager could not have been nicer people. The shop is clean and comfortable, and they do very good work. I got a very good set of tires for a great price, and they got a guaranteed repeat customer.
With all the car shops out there that will scam and cheat you every chance you get, I would recommend you try this place. They are honest and have really good prices. I give the entire experience an A+.
