Just how awesome is it, when you make that dreaded call for what you think is going to be a highly costly service call and it turns out to be almost nothing. After placing the initial call and giving our model number for a parts & service estimate, we get a prompt call back with the news. The tech., (Wyatt) asks a few questions and then tells me the parts price and his price....both of which I must say were reasonable for oven repair. Then he asks me if I have a certain tool around the place. When I tell him that I do, he proceeds to tell me how I could just do it myself and save the service call. Some might just say he was throwing away easy money. I would say he just did the right thing in not taking advantage of the situation. I was able to purchase the part for the same price I would have been charged at every other place I had checked and saved what one place would have charged over $100 to do. It took all of about 1o minutes to complete the job.
