Volunteer Taxi

I called 4 hours in advance for a ride & 15 minutes after I was scheduled to be picked up I had to call to see why my ride wasn't here yet. I was told it would be 10 more minutes. 45 minutes later I called AGAIN & someone just picked up the phone & hung up again. I had to call a different service. If you value your time DO NOT call these people.

Last night, November 27, I had the pleasure of receiving a ride from a man employed by Volunteer Taxi named Firew. He was not only a fantastic driver but a great person as well. I have received a number of taxi rides as I go downtown most every weekend and have encountered a number of rude drivers who do not care to make conversation and only care about the tip that they receive. Yet, I could tell Firew was a very genuine guy and would recommend him to any one of my friends who are looking for a ride and I hope to encounter him as a driver again.
