We were heading back to Dallas from San Antonio and the car shut down on the highway. We coasted off and stopped at the Whataburger next door to AAMCO. We walked in and told them what was going on and they were quick to get us in. Turns out the alternator was bad, so we got a new alternator, battery and belt. They got us back on the road within a few hours. About an hour and a half later, the car shuts down again. After towing it back to Dallas (after finding out the alternator was faulty), we left it in the parking lot of an AAMCO in Plano, since the following day was Sunday. I called the New Braunfels location and told them what was going on. Very apologetic, and they called the Plano location to get them up to date after my phone call. The alternator was fixed under warrenty, and the car is running great! What really blew me away was that I got a call today from ya'll checking to see how everything went and if I was taken care of. I have never had a mechanic call and see how things went and if everything was taken care of. Even though we were the 1% that bought a brand new faulty alternator, I am very impressed with AAMCO and greatly appreciate what yall did for us.

I was out of town and my sisters car stopped running on her, I called aamco and spoke with Tyler. He towed my sisters car to his shop (at no charge) gave me a estimate on the repairs and did the repairs the next day. let me pay over the phone with my credit card (under the repair estimate). Its so nice to find a HONEST repair shop that could of taken advantage of a situation.
Thank you Tyler and crew. sincerely Gil

Thank goodnes for the new owner!!! Dealer in San Antonio told me I needed a new transmission to the tune of $3450.00. Stopped by the AAmco in New Braunfels for a second oppinion. They fixed my car and it has been running perfectly ever since. And, it only cost me $218.20 for a speed sensor to be installed to correct the shifting problem! WAY TO GO AAMCO NEW BRAUNFELS YOU SAVED ME $3,231.80
