General Info: Mount Lebanon Shaker Village was the leading site of the Shakers, from its founding in 1787 to its closure in 1947. Since 2004, the Shaker Museum Mount Lebanon has preserved the North Family at Mount Lebanon while offering tours and programs, as well as exhibitions of Shaker objects from its collection, the most comprehensive in the world.Mount Lebanon Shaker Village was the leading site of the Shakers, from its founding in 1787 to its closure in 1947.
