Dime Bank

I was thinking of opening an account with Dime Savings, but after talking with a bank employee for a few minutes and being redirected to another employee for more information that the first one couldn't answer, I decided against EVER doing business with Dime Savings Bank. The first employee knew almost nothing about her job and couldn't answer my questions intelligently, but even worse, her attitude! Oh, sure, she "smiled" while she spoke to me, but she acted like she had to get back to her Facebook page or Blackberry to yap with her friends and had no time for my stupid questions.
The second Dime Savings Bank employee could answer a few more of my questions but was still, in my opinion, quite ignorant regarding knowledge about the business with whom she was employed, not to mention a "looking down her nose" at me sort of stance, as if I was not important enough to deal with. Considering I had a cashiers check in my pocket for over $340,000.00 to open a new account, she just lost her employers what could have been a long term client.

It used to be that a bank was a landmark in a neighborhood and would strive to make a good impression on all who entered their doors, customer and NON-customer alike, thus generating positive talk around the neighborhood, making neighbors happy, and.... acquiring more customers. Clearly, Dime Savings Bank owners have more that enough money in their pockets since it is clear they do not train their employees to act neighborly to their NON-customer neighbors, with the prospect of increasing their client base.

Say goodbye to the rich, fat-cat Dime Savings Bank Owners and say hello to their competition who treat NON-customers who are their neighbors in a NEIGHBORLY way.
