The National Audubon Society s mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems focusing on birds, other wildlife and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity. Audubon Magazine is the official magazine of the society. The magazine is a bimonthly publication with a circulation of nearly 500,000. Its mission is to help readers appreciate, understand and protect the natural world. Audubon s national network of community-based nature centers and chapters, scientific and educational programs and advocacy on behalf of areas sustaining important bird populations engage millions of people of all ages and backgrounds in the conservation experiences. Audubon Magazine is one of the ways members in the network stay connected.
