Mid - Manhatan surgi center is an incompetently run facility . I have had the misfortune of visiting the facility three times . First: my 100 yr old grandmother . A mishap durring her surgery drenched her with fluid which caused her to become

So cold she was shaking uncontrollably . Not one nurse /assitant addressed the issue . I finally realized her entire back was soaking wet . Again, no one helped me change her nor could explain how she came out soaking wet and shaking! Not an ideal situation for a 100 year old which I contacted the facility prior to ,to make sure they understood her limitations.



My second visit was with my dad , who may I add is diabetic . We arrived at the time they requestedto, we sat in the waiting room for five hours before being called into the pre op area !! My concern was hiS blood sugar plummeting due to not being able to eat ! When we asked what the hold up was the answer was there are two doctors sharing the operating rooms . So in essence they double booked the facility which caused a huge time delay , but lots of money In thier pockets ! Second visit with my dad , we arrive once agin on time , first patient due to being diabetic !!! Can't take him into surgery due to his paperwork ( insurance approval)not being in the faculty. Remind you , he was there less then a month prior . Therefore we had to wait , yet again , for someone to fix the issue . Again , long wait , no concern for the patient and their individual issues !



This facility is manged terribly and had no regard for its patients !!! Incompetence !! No reason for these issues . Management 101 !!
