Massage Fusion

I would be very weary of this business's and its deceitful advertising. I recently booked a couples massage for my husband and I at Massage Fusion in Niantic. The massage was good, however I was extremely dissatisfied with unreasonable cost! I was charged $135.00 pp for a grand total of $270.00 for a 60 min Swedish couples massage! The individual rate listed for a Swedish massage is $65.00 that is greater than 50% increase from the individual rate. There were no extras included in the couples massage…no champagne and fruit…or any additional services that would have warranted an additional $1400.00 charge. When I questioned the charge, the owner replied that it was listed in her brochure and handed a copy to me. On the contrary, there was no advertised price for a couples massage in the brochure or on her website! She assumed that I would pay $70.00 more per person for a couples massage. I called several high end salons (Elmis- Mohegan Sun, Red Door, and Water's Edge) the charge for a couples massage is an additional $5-$10 more than the individual rateand not a $70 increase from the individual rate. When I called to discuss the charge the owner was not only rude but quit unprofessional and refused to make any adjustment. I would not recommend this place to anyone...she is dishonest and unprofessional!
