This WAS our go-to place for food and laid back atmosphere. Last week was awful. The grouper dinner, priced at $26.95, was not as good as food in a school cafeteria. I asked for a manager and there was not one to be found. Our server was either tired or just didn't care. We may return but not likely.

Although the service is usually slow, the atmosphere and food more than make up for it. We enjoy it every time we go.

food is of low quality and high priced.. You are lucky if it comes out warm and half cooked.The restaurant Manager, Dave doesn't care since he knows that most visitors are tourists and he will probably never see them again. Don't eat here! Spend your money elsewhere. There are other places nearby on the water that are better.

Located on the Intracoastal Waterway, across from Nokomis Beach (Casey Key) and south of the Albee Road bridge, Pop's Sunset Grill provides waterfront dining with water access for boats. We open daily at 8 a.m. with the last dinner seating at 9 p.m. offering fresh fish specials, live entertainment, indoor and outdoor seating in a casual environment. Pop's is a member of the "Sarasota Originals" and the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame as we have earned a Certificate of Excellence every year for the past five years. In 2019, we opened our 4,000 sq. ft multi-level Tiki structure featuring nearly 180-degree views of the Intracoastal, an awesome bar with four 75 inch TVs, fire pit tables & an expanded gift shop - Pop’s Bou-Tiki.
