Meadowbrook High School, located in Richmond, Va., is one of the Chesterfield County Public Schools. It enrolls more than 1,750 students and offers classes from grades nine through 12. Students are offered a wide variety of courses in accordance with their interests, needs and future plans and may select their courses from a comprehensive program of studies. The majority of courses offered are college preparatory and in addition to the standard offerings there are honors and advanced placement courses offered in most disciplines, including art, English, foreign language, math, social studies and science. Students are encouraged to develop talents outside the classroom, with opportunities in various clubs, organizations and athletics, including more than 30 different levels of boys and girls athletic teams, student newspaper, music department and debating team.
